OK, I admit it. While we are staying in Fredonia, Arizona (7 miles south of Kanab, Utah), we have taken on the role of “power tourists.” Yes, we parked the RV for a month, but in the first 3 weeks we traveled over 1,500 miles (by truck or motorcycle), determined to see as many of the southern Utah and northern Arizona sights as possible. We did several day trips and 3 “overnighters:”
- A two day trip to St. George, UT to see Cindy Thiel win a silver medal in a softball tournament
- A two day trip on the Can-Am to Cedar Breaks National Monument and Bryce Canyon National Park, and
- A massive five day, 1100 mile road trip to the three more distant Utah national parks (Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches) as well as Monument Valley, a Navaho tribal park.
In all, we have seen TEN major scenic sites, and I will post the top 10 pictures from each one. The map below shows the relative locations of the 10 locations. Below the map are links to each of the picture sets as they are posted.
Wow! What an adventure so far!
Wishing you happy travels!!
Billie — Thanks for the wonderful visit! I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures. I will post some Dallas pictures shortly.
