This was the middle day of our 5 day road trip. Although Canyonlands is scenic, the day was a difficult one for photography, with bright sunlight providing stark contrasts, and a haze in the canyon itself. Nevertheless, we found some good scenery, including a good view of, and through, the only real arch in the park.
Reminiscent of the Grand Canyon And the snow capped peaks in the distance are a nice touch The large arch overlooking the canyon The view through the arch A closer arch view Ellen loves the “high places” scenery One of my favorite Canyonlands views A Canyonlands overlook Same scene, with some strange tourists These rocks look like a city skyline!
they do look like a city outline !!!! and i love the one where the colors are so vivid … especially the greens. actually i love all the photos and you both look so happy!!!!
we miss you!!!!
