My sister and mom both told me that Bryce Canyon was their favorite. And from a photography perspective, it is mine as well. The pictures tell it all. Gorgeous!
Once again, we are near the end of the season. Although the park is open year-round, the lodge was in its final two weeks of operation for the year. Crowds were still heavy, though, as people had to hunt for parking spots at the most popular viewpoints.
Even though I had a wide angle lens with me, I found myself resorting several times to panorama photos, because it was the only way to capture the wide horizon of the scene.
The fourth picture gives you size perspective. The arrow points to a person in that picture. He is the black dot in the light space at the bottom of the rock. If you zoom in, you will see he is wearing white tennis shoes.
